Juniperus scopulorum 'Welchii' - Welch Juniper

If you have the type of garden that would benefit from some cooler hues in an upright evergreen but don't want the bluish hues of a Skyrocket or Moonglow Juniper, the Welch Juniper might be the perfect choice. This plant has a tight conical habit and can reach heights of 10', making it a nice choice to add some verticality to a location. It's glaucus berries are a nice detail when this plant receives closer inspection. It's narrow habit could make it useful in a situation where screening is needed but space is at a premium. It does well in very dry soils, and is hardy to zone 3.
