Juniperus sabina 'Skandia' - Skandia Juniper

Graceful branching habit is part of what makes the Scandia Juniper such a plant find. But don't let the smooth look fool you: this is a tough evergreen shrub that can handle some of the thinnest, poorest soils you can plant it in (just make sure those soils aren't moist a good deal of the time). Drought tolerant and hardy to USDA Zone 3, this juniper can serve as an excellent ground cover in a rock garden, spilling over each stone like green water, or it can be used for erosion control.
