Spiraea japonica 'Alpina' - Alpina Daphne Spirea

There seems to be some confusion as to the name of this variety of Spirea, as I've found distinctions in both common and botanical names. So I'll do my best to defer to plantsmen with knowledge greater than mine. This Spirea has very close ties to 'Little Princess'. It has a small mature size (1-2' x 2-3'), with small (3/4" long), green, slightly serrated foliage whose length is approximately twice it's width; much wider than other japonica in a relative sense. Blooms are a faded pink and white and are borne on small clusters spread heavily across the plant. This is another variety of Spirea that is a good selection for gardens with limited space.
