wink Ice Control

With the recent ice and snow storm dumping a mix on us., I was wondering how do you do sites (driveways and parking-lots) after an ice storm. Just wondering Thanks.

I try and hit them just before the ice or snow hits...Pre-salting is a great help and keeps adherence of further ice to a minimum. If thats not possible then its on to larger amounts of melter or mixes of whatever you use. I use pure Halite, just what my spreader takes and reasonably priced. I've had salesman try and sell me on mag and CC, no way to justify the cost as it almost riples my app prices.

Hope this is what yore gettin at!

In a more recent thread I posted a picture of a pre-storm ice protector. spray the chemical before the storm and no ice. I agree pre-salting is very helpful. For that picture go to the thread on "walkways" thats where I posted it. Take a look
