76 inches of snow in 3 days!

Oswego, New York (1 hour away from me) got 76 inches of snow. My sister lives there so i sent my 2 guys down there today. They called and said the plows did not good the snow is simply too deep. People dont want the snow pushed they want it loaded and hauled away. Tommorw i am sending them up there with our CASE 95XT(what a beast of a machine) and our International 4500 to make a score.

VoodooChile is on a distinguished road
Wow! Do you have contracts down there, or will your guys simply hang a shingle off the side of the truck advertising "Driveways cleared"?

How do you bill that out? It must cost you at least $150 an hour to have two guys and pieces of equipment out there. Where do you haul the snow?

I've never understood how you all in upstate New York deal with the snow...76" inches is just nuts!!!

they are in a state of emergency and pretty much all of the guys down there dont have the equipment needed to properly dispose of the snow. They are use there big f350s and such but there gets a point where you can no longer puch snow and it needs to be removed becasue of saftey options. I mean alot of these guys are landscapes so im not saying they dont have the equipment maybe its but not equipped for this type of weather. Voodoo its so bad there that all you have to do is drive down the street. Its right on lake ontario so with the help of the city of oswego we can dump it right in the lake.

Thats an insane amount of snow. Too much to push, you can only plow "with the storm" for so long before you can't keep up anymore.

The lake effect machine is churning here in Burlington right now. I just got in from plowing a couple apartment buildings down on the lakeshore. We're supposed to get between 30-50cm of snow by tomorrow night. That's uh, 12-20" before drifting. Nothing compared to what WNY got.
