Plowing Contracts

I will be plowing for the first time this year for myself and was wondering if anyone had any sample contracts that they use with their clients.

Thanks!

SIMA has contract forms available online (for members...you'd have to join), or maybe your state's landscape association might have a sample that'd be relevant to your location.

If you're writing your own, you should include; who, what, where, when, and how...and for how much of course. It need not be 8 pages long, but you should be specific in your terms and then send a copy of it to your insurer (and possibly your lawyer) to review before you start using it.

Speaking of your insurer, you might give them a call first since they may have a sample contract you could use.

You could also check out the contracts by Landscape Ontario at http://www.horttrades.com/displaynews.php?n=359

I would have them reviewed by your lawyer and insurer to make sure they work for you.

Mine was created from a sample that my insurance agent gave me and he also advises me of things I should add from time to time.
