Equipment Maintenance Prior to Winter

I'm wondering for those who have formal equipment maintenance schedules or programs, is there special care or attention given as Winter approaches? I'm wondering as most equipment won't get much of a work out come Winter. The subject reflects a story idea I'm hoping to develop. I appreciate your input!

We don't do anything special as it approaches, but we certainly do a lot to winterize the equipment once the season is over.

We keep everything pretty well maintained all year long. Wear items are dealt with on a regular basis as well as all PM.

We do have a few projects to do as far as some modifications, but generally after the last use of that piece of equipment for the season, it is brought in, PM done, wear items replaced, belts changed and the equipment put in the storage area.

Wear items are inventoried and we order in 2 of each wear items, even some big ticket stuff like spindles and batteries. If we go down in season, its a quick shop fix and we are back out again.
