Skimmer Sealant

What's the best sealant to put on a skimmer?

Keith N is an unknown quantity at this point
I usually use what comes with the skimmer or we use Aquascapes silicon.

If the water feature will support life (fish, etc), a fish-safe silicone sealant. If it's a pondless waterfall, then it doesn't need to be fish safe.
