NH Questions

I'm just starting a maintenance company up in New Hampshire and had a couple questions. Does any body know what kind of license i need other thaan a business license? Also i am having trouble trying to figure the going rate up here. I want to start at a rate that will get some customers but I dont want to price to low. Also, any suggestions on how to price a fall cleanup?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Calculate your overhead & figure what kind of margin you'll need. Get your numbers in order & that will dictate what you should be charging. The ANLA has a great estimating guide and don't be afraid to shop the competition a little. That's not a concrete answer, but everyone's business is different in terms of overhead, labor cost, etc. & you need to get that in order first.

No license required. Beyond that pretty much all of your pricing questions have been discussed multiple times here in the past. Search and learn.

That's a real good answer, Trees. Very good advice.
Good luck Oneill and dont be afraid to make good money.
It's what you can offer after the leaf clean-up that can
bring you more. Try to sell curb appeal, such as:
Mulching, pruning, adding seasonal annuals and sprucing up
for the holidays.
