I sent my PM as well - if I happen to win, please choose someone else to win the magnet, as I already have one.

Hey, I've been taking pictures of stuff all summer with my new digital camera. That thing is almost as addictive as this place!

Who's ready for some clues?
This plant has been in that spot for at least six years. It is a little less than 4 ' tall.
The colors you are seeing are its fall color. Normally the leaves are green.
More to come...

OK, here's the final clue.
The white flowers come in the spring and look like bottle brushes.
See attached photo...
The winner will be posted on Sunday night.

The plant of the week is:
Fothergilla gardenii - Dwarf Fothergilla
This deciduous shrub is hardy in zones 5-8. It has bottle brush white flowers in early-Spring and excellent Fall color. Tolerates partial shade, though the specimens shown were grown in full sun. I like to use this plant in woodland planting and occasionally foundation plantings because of its compact habit. Try it, you'll like it!

What do we win if we can name the year model of the Vette in the garage in the photo?

My guess is that it was a mid 70's Firebird formula
