Plant ID help

Need the names of some plants I'm not familiar with. A couple look like azaleas but if they are I've never seen them before.

It looks like three types of deciduous azalea and the last looks like blueberry.

It probably is Highbush blue berry, the bloom time on enkianthus is later then May. I thought it might be that at first.

The others do look like deciduous azaleas

Orange you glad I didn't say Rhododendron?

I agree with the previous posts. They are deciduous azaleas and a highbush blueberry. I think they are very rare and can only be found in parts of Wayne or North Haledon

Thanks. Jody these were actually spotted in Franklin Lakes. Maybe it has something to do with the climate change.

Okay, so I'm a little late for this thread.......I've been away from the computer for a while. These Azaleas reminded me a lot of the 'native' hybrids that Tommy Dodd III has developed in South Alabama. Dodd & Dodd .:. Native Nurseries The first picture in particular, reminded me of 'Col Mosby' and "Jeb Stuart".....these are pictured on the website. Being from the southeast, I'm not familar with the Exbury hybrids that Tommy crossed with the more familar (to me) Rhododenron austrinum, but it seems likely that these azaleas in the pictures in New Jersey might be Exburys.
Did you ever find out?
