I am putting in a bid on a new embassy property in dc. 35 new canopy trees 5-6 ft- 35 ornamental trees 6-8 ft, 120 evergreen trees 8-10ft, 160 shrubs 5gal, 120 liriope and 50 flat vinca.

I have been in business for 8 years but have not bid on anything this big before. easy and close area for working with 5-6 experenced
workers. any suggestions?

If yes then your getting hosed!
$896 for a Red Oak (holy Cow!!!!!!) that's my cost for like a 6'' caliper tree(maybe 20ft tall range)

Retail pricing for a commercial job won't work. Just put down your pen.

Whoa...I didn't even look at the prices. It's just the canopy trees that are out of line. Those have to be retail prices.

And the leylands. My wholesale cost: 9'-10': $135.00. And full.
Red Maple 5'-6' I can buy in a 15 gallon container that will only cost me $45.
Peteg, please check around for more competitve prices on your trees even if you have to look out of state.
