Large Fruit Trees

Does anyone know of a source for large caliper fruit trees in zone 5? I have a client who wants an instant orchard next year.

Yup. But I should charge him for telling you about him. What kinds of trees and how large?

How big? Well, as big as I can get them! What kind? Pretty much anything that will grow in Wisconsin. Enough for a good-sized home orchard. Maybe 15-20 trees? Apples and pears, and hardy plums and peaches and cherries.

I'll rattle off what this supplier has and thei largest sizes, and you let me know if you'd be interested (at which point I might ask you to put the screws to this supplier to advertise here ) :

Reddish skinned apples:

State Fair, 3-3.5"
McIntosh, 5-6"
Honeycrisp, 3-3.5"
Cortland, 4-5"
Jonathan, 3-3.5"

Yellow skin apples:

Yellow Delicious, 4-5"
Criterion, 4-5"

Prunus - edible cherry and plum:

Montmorency (sour cherry), 2.5-3"
Green Gage (european plum), 5-6"
Superior (american plum), 3.5-4"
Brooks (european prune) 4-5"
Stanley (european prune) 3.5-4"

Pear

Bartlett, 4-5"

All grown in Wisconsin, and can be trucked to your location. If you're still interested, I'll put you in contact with them.

Thanks, Stonehenge. I hope to hear back from them soon.

Beaver Creek does not sell fruit trees. They do sell very nice plants. And songsparrow is a lovely website.

Did you call or email? They are usually not that great about checking email, but respond quickly to faxes and calls.
