Strange activity in my bed
Found these strange looking things in my front beds.
Looks like cat puke.
Any idea what they are?

it does no harm to plants, its strickly cometic. I take a pitch fork and remove the whole clump. When you get hot, humid weather, the fungus will grow in all hardwood mulches, its just one of those things.

Starts a warm yellow, looks like brains - then fades to off-white with brown edges, like it's been toasted. Turns brown and crusty - break it at that point and watch bazillions of spores fly all over - and you'll find new blobs of yellow brains around the yard.
@Dan - uh... definitely NOT.

Surely you jest. Not unless I was stranded on a desert island for months.
Funny thing, when growing up and not knowing any better, I always thought it was dog puke. Saw it where I couldn't comprehend dogs being. But that was when I was young and dumb, now I'm just older and dumb.

No jesting
There is a certain stage called the plasmodium stage (have no idea when that is) when it can be used just like scrambled eggs. I not going to try it though
