POTW 58 self-sows profusely to form large swathes that are as beautiful as they are ugly once the foliage begins to die back....

Plant of the Week 58 is Mertensia virginica, Virginia Bluebells.
Congratulations to phototropic1, Lanelle, Diamondscapes, trees, TrickyDick, jwholden, lwnlvr, dan deutekom, and sleepy who all got it right.
I'll post a few pix of POTW58's foliage in a month when has been transformed into a real dawg...
