Plant Find

I've been getting inquirees from Plant Find lately about membership in their organization. Basically for a fee of $400-500 per year they provide you way to search out sellers of the materials you need. Submit a list of plants, bulk materials, hardgoods etc. on their site and later you can view a list of bids from potential sellers. Plant Find itself gets no commission but you have to contact the seller for delivery.
I'll admit I'm a little spoiled now because for years I've dealt with local wholesale distributor (affiliated with Baker). I fax them my list of required plants and they fax me back a bid. Then they deliver (at a reasonable cost) at my convenience. And they know my tastes so they don't send crap and they take returns with no questions asked. But am I getting the best price? Probably not.
So, I'm curious if any of you have tried Plant Find or a similar supply route.

sleepy is an unknown quantity at this point
Sounds questionable IMO . How do you know the quality of the sellers. Id stick to the true tested local people in your area.
Ive ordered plants sometimes they go sometimes they die? I think it has alot to do with hardening off before planting but are you going to do that before you plant?
good luck but I say return on your investment is shakey. As for the best price mabye not from your supplier but the the assurance of dealing with your local people and the generation of money in your area is important.
