garden show booth

finishing up our local fair this week and just got a few pics in of our display. I'm hoping this pays off. I've heard more bad things about the economy over the past few day than I would like too. Hopefully this will help stir things up a bit.

We did a more formal garden. The theme was 'art in the garden', so I did a simple statue as the center of attention. Was on a budget, so we used block that was donated from my local wall manufacturer. Was very pleased with their new product line and am getting a lot of good feed back.

I was worried it looked too much like just block display, but overall, pretty happy. We decided to do this thing about 2 weeks before the finish day, so it was pretty much 'build, then design'
Me and one worker fininished it up in about 7 days.....he wanted to kill me at the end, especially being it was 105+ out for a good part of the building days.

So far, I've lost one tree....and of course, its the one that cost as much as the rest of the display! Lions head maples are just troublesome.........I've been using the term 'bronzing' for its description lately.

It was fun at least, and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy my evening after work. I'm gonna be upset tearing it all down next week!

picture of the small bubbler pond.......I thought the logoed rubber ducks would be a good idea.......until I started finding them in the pond, which wasn't so bad, except for the kids who wanted to join them!

last one. Just took a big plunge and changed the company logo. No more college spirit..........hopefully the new logo will go over well.

Very nice. Tip of the hat on your logo too. Your website is well done, professional and elegant. Good presentation. I've always felt if you're going to be designing landscapes, you better have a well designed web site. Let me know how the booth worked sales wise.

Regards,
Matt
