Stone step makeover

These steps were completely redone since the previous mason didn't realize that the rise on the steps needed to be the same and not vary from 5" to 10".

Stonehenge is on a distinguished road
Still looks pretty sharp - what were the materials used on the job?

Tennessee Crab orchard, thin. Plus some leftover thick that the customer had on site from the wall that the other "stonemason" had built.
You wouldn't believe the amount of good stone that this guy had used as filler to build the original steps. As we started demolition and uncovered all of this stone, it almost made me cry. Especially when he didn't hesitate to use bricks, concrete, rip-rap, mortar and a kitchen sink.
( Well, maybe not the sink)
