Why I haven't registered

Whenever I log on to GTX to see who's online, there is always a 10:1 ratio of members to guests so I started thinking why don't guests become members, it's so much more fun.

So here's a poll.

We talked a bit about this on the phone. Tell you what - I'll move this poll to the front page and make it so that non-registered folks can vote (as it is right now, if you aren't registered and logged in you can't even see this forum, so you can't vote in this poll). Then maybe we can get a dialog going with our anonymous users.

Hmm.. It appears the polling system needs a remedial math class. Either that or it went to the Yogi Berra school of higher learning.

You can select multiple options, my guess is only one person selected two.

Yup. I think so, too. Still seems to make the poll system look kinda dumb.

I also kept reading in the forum for quite a long time before finally registering - don't know why actually!

I waited a couple months before registering at my first message board (it wasn't this one). I had never seen one before and spent a lot of time reading and learning how it operated, plus got a feel for what was permissible and what was not. I'm like that with most things I do though, I like to learn as much as I can about something before I attempt to use it so I have half an idea of what I'm doing when I do.

After joining that first board however, I sign up immediately at new boards I encounter.
