How much time do you spend each week at GTX, on average?

Why have you chosen our corner of the web to spend some of your valuable time?

At this time of the year it's about 20 minutes a day. At less hectic times likely closer to an hour or 3 per day.

I've have become a student for life gathering up tid bits of information at every opportunity. GTX provides an excellent forum with super people willing to share their bits with me.

Right now it is less than I would like because I am busy. In the off season it is quite a bit more. GTX is the best forum because of it's serious nature without all of the bickering that is present on the other boards and the experienced advice and ideas that are more advanced than the usual "How much mulch should I use?" or "please price this job" type questions that the other forums tend to be full of.

1-5 hours. Mostly reading. Not many posts-as you can see.

I check on five or six forums I like twice a day. When I first get up while I eating some breakfast and at night before I go to bed. Unless it's raining or I don't have any work that day. How much I spend on each site just depends on what I find that interests me that day. I like this site for it's lack of mean spirited people. Your site hasn't been up long enough for the search info to be as deep yet but it will get there because it is a well run site with a nice feel to it. It just needs to age a little more. I'll enjoy being a part of that I hope.

My God!

Who finds over 10 hours per week to spare? You must be retired, have no family, or are addicted to this site.

It's a fantastic vault of knowledge and easy to be addicted to.

I use to own a Garden Centre, and we sold a potting mix that was extremely good, but also quite expensive. Our selling point was, that if you try it once you will become addicted and no other potting mix would do. We sold tonnes of the stuff.

I use to spend up to 2 hours, but work and family don't allow much more than an hour.

BJR, I'm wondering how you can only spend 1 hour per week here.

very difficult.

I read a lot and make few posts.

Sometimes it's a couple of hours, sometimes I can't find time to visit at all.

I went to a seminar over the winter where I took a personality test. It turns out that I should have been an accountant.

The other thing I learned was that I socialize very easy with people with the same occupation/interests. I have a tendancy to linger when I see a friend at a supplier as well, great chat! I'll admit I am addicted to GTX, but it's who I am.

Regretfully, I haven't had any time during the day; at night it seems that as soon as I sit down, my eyelids slam shut. I have thoroughly enjoyed the site so far & am looking forward to fidin some more time in the future.

I love this site where I can get useful information from knowledgable people. I have been coming here ever since I read about Stonehenge in Pro. I like it because there aren't any "Plant or Landscape snobs". Just people who love what they do. I spend way too much time here when I should be SLEEPING!
