Yeah, when you can tell me how to get equipment and trucks legally without incurring any costs or investment, I'll dance at your business launch party.

Is this not a Forum, Pay scale, what are your thoughts? I gave mine and got a mouth full of BS from all of you. What's with the "quote me". Do you have that much time to question my english, rather then get to the point. The Guy wants some numbers, not just a beat around the bush answer. Oh, maybe my 25 lawn accounts with my 4 ExMarks mowers and 1 truck will take me higher, you need insurance to run a business? never knew that, advertisings free when you know the right people. Its just a side business if you know what I mean

Mac may be right but I think it's informative to all of us when we get a chance to see how some employees, who are clearly at (or beyond) the high end of the pay scale, are actually the least appreciative of their compensation. And it shows how throwing money at a "problem" rarely works.

Having said all of that..I feel it my obligation as a certified ol' fart to pass on some words of wisdom to the young, talented, spirited (though perhaps frustrated and misguided) landscapers of tomorrow...

...You can learn the long, slow hard way. Or you can leap frog over many of the hard knocks by absorbing the experiences and wisdom of those who've gone before you.

I wish there was a Ground Trades Xchange around when I started 23 years ago.
