What are you going to do with it? Each one has it's differences. If you are bidding off of plans that someone else has done or are you looking at an accounting / bidding program?

I need a accounting/bidding program for my own work/designs. Right now I use Money Home/Business for my estimates/billing and I use Design Imaging Software pgm for my designs. I love Digital Imaging and their site planner part but they don't have a estimate/billing pgm that goes with it. I am in the market for buying another software pgm with all of the above and if it can do the billings too, that would be awesome!

If I do find a software pkg with all of these, what do I use for the maint/lawn part of the business? Do I use gopher?

HELP!

The bundle that your looking at start around $4000 and go up from there. We spent over $20K on ours. I don't know how much you do is business per year, but thats big money to most landscapers. Thats not including servers and work stations. Sage Timberline can get you started. I would really like to help but I would need more privite information to steer you to the right system that you need.

DIG has/had a program called Land Quote. I bought a package with all 4 of their programs but I only use Planscape. All planting and hardscape estimates are done in an Excel spreadsheet. For maint. billing we use LM from Alocet along with QuickBooks Pro. Well under $4k but we don't do the kind of work Paul does/did.

I also use planscape pgm which I like it alot.. one thing bad is the pgm will not print the graph/matrix too while printing the plan there fore I have to put all the measurements on it to use it at the site. The quote program I never did get going and I have so much fun with the imaging software. So that is why I need a quote/estimate software/system.

I am a small company and just want to make it easier on myself...

So I am still weighing my options for some software.
