Well, my decision and the outcome were two very different things.

I had decided that I would give him another opportunity, and at least have him work through the end of the season, possibly more.

But after returning his first call twice, leaving my pager number for him to reach me, he didn't call back. So I guess he didn't need/want the job that bad after all.
