Everything is staying as it was for now ... hourly pay. We will see what next year brings.

It looks like this will give you a chance to track each person's sales and evaluate how they are doing. If you show them how much they would have made on a commission basis compared to hourly for set periods of time, they may get excited about commission. Also, how do you deal with the winter down time?Even if they are designing projects, there's no production to be paid commission on during the winter.
