I read the first post/question and jumped to the last page to comment without reading others opinions - - my opinion is this. Could YOU live on 40K a year? - I worked as a production supervisor and started at 40K (worked out to about 50K w/ o/t) - that's only $20.00 an hour. I then decided to get fired....lol - and start my own company. Granted the place I worked for made alot more than 300K a year - I think they made more than that a month, not sure. - I'm an independant type person, but you can't really do anything in life for under 80K. - That's my opinion. I think a loyal dependable employee is priceless.
