Microsoft Project

I have seen printouts from some construction companies who use microsoft project. It looks like a really good scheduling software, but It's $600. Does anyone use it? If so, is it worth it. Right now I'm using a paper pencil, and the seat of my pants.

That sounds about like what we use - it sounds like the scale of projects you're working on are larger than ours, so I can understand the need for something better than that. But for us, so far, that method seems to be working OK. I would think Paul or Bexter or maybe even John Allin might have some insight on that one...

Is Turbo Project from IMSI, the makers of Turbo Cad? I know first hand that Turbo Cad is excellent software, I would expect the same from any other titles by IMSI.
