10 or 12 years ago I mowed a 3 acre field on a hot day with 30 mph swirly winds and half way through I realized that underlaying the whole thing was poison ivy. I was literally covered head to toe with a layer of shredded ivy and I didn't get a single bump. That was the day I learned that I was a lucky guy (in least in that one part of life). Of course after that every time there was poison ivy around my boss and coworker would pretend to do other things and I would have to cut the hedge or whatever myself. Nothing's free.

This is pretty much what happened to me and when I really learned to identify poison ivy. I never could really tell before, but I became an expert after that.

So I handled it by giving him medicine I use when I get it and paying him for the time he was too uncomfortable to work. I was joking about firing him but I do know that some folks out there might have if he refused to work. (I worked for them until I decided to do my own thing)

Folks on this site can't seem to grasp the difference between "I need advice" and "I am curious to know how you would handle..."
