Mid Am seems to work pretty well for us for seminars and some networking - heck, I've been able to meet face to face some of the fine people here when visiting Mid-Am. I attended about 4 seminars, but was disappointed with every one - they each seemed to be more worried about pushing the latest book or dangling some tasty financial info, only to require a future meeting and $$ to actually get any real info.
Hmmm, this doesn't sound like a glowing endorsement, does it? The seminars are not usually that way, and I've been very satisfied with the info I get when attending them. Just last year I wasn't too happy.
But they also give me a chance to network with my state landscape assoc, meet others in other geographic or business areas.
I'd recommend it highly. Sometimes helps to see your business in a new light when you get out and meet others in the same field.
