Lost Daily Hours

Take a minute and think about how much daily non productive/non billable time youre employees may be wasting.

This is time your employees are doing something that is not being charged to your clients and you are not recovering.

Most companies I have seen have employees spending at least an hour of their work day being non productive, and I am not even referring to time on the job site.

Take a look at your employees hourly rate....multiply that times the number of hourly employees and see what it amounts to for 1 hour of non billable time.

Now multiply that times the number of work days in a week times the number of work weeks in a season.

Lets take this just a step farther Rob, and look at the loss that results from even a few minutes time wasted per day.

I have worked with companies all over this US of A and I find that a lot of them hae the employees stop and get gas at a gas station every morning. Even if they don't need gas, they stop for cigarettes, coffee, and donuts. Say they waste 14 minutes per day.

Now your immediate cash loss on that is

$ 1.33 per minute for a 2 man crew so the loss is $ 18.62.

Ok...thats a cash loss...what about the production time lost off the job ?? Where's that made up at..??

Chance of the estiamted task times running short?? Lots of unanswered questions here..
