Reminder of why we do this
Today when I drove into work it was sunny and 60 degrees, forecast high of 78. All the Bradford Pears, redbuds, daffodils & bleeding hearts are in bloom, the first of the azaleas are opening (Sorry to rub it in for all of you in colder climes).
It's important on days like these that we, as managers, take a little time to enjoy the things that make this work great.
Also, tell your employees that on days like this, everyone wants our job and they should enjoy it while it lasts. Allow a little time for your employees to "stop and smell the roses." We all need days like this to remind us why we do what we do. Cold & rainy / snowy is not far behind and hot & humid is not far ahead...
