National Do Not Call List

I just got an E-mail that said that cell phone numbers are going to be released to telemarketers soon. If you want to cut these idiots off at the pass call the National Do Not Call List at 888-382-1222 from the phone you want blocked.

I just can't see how it would be possible or legal for telemarketers to call a cell phone.......this should be a national group action law suit against them if they do.

The thing with cell phones is we have to pay to receive calls.......if a telemarketer calls, it is costing you money. I cannot not figure out in any way, shape, or form how that could be legal.

it would be like the mail man knocking on your door and asking you for money so he could give you junkmail.

This would just be a total slap in the face for our politicians to allow this to happen. I don't have much faith in the legal system as it is, but this would make me believe there is nothing to believe in any more.

Someone wants your cell phone number to sell to telemarketers. The National do not call list just asks you to give the info, not necessarily from the phone you want blocked. Whoever is asking for that will have your # to add to a database. Who knows what they'll do with it.

I got the info in an E-mail and didn't research the original source. However, the number to call for do not call is legit.
