Computerized Time Clock?

Anyone ever seen or used one of these?

http://www.timeclockdeals.com/lathem/payclockez.cfm

Says it lasts up to 300 hours on 4 AA batteries - good if you have no power at your shop (like we do, except for a generator).

By my calculations it'd take about 68 AA batteries to get me through the season. Not sure I like that, but it sure beats the 'honor' system.

How far away is your PC?

Ok after rereading it I don't think that the one you are looking for, the following is off their web site............
Easy to set-up: Attach the PC100 terminal to a wall and lock it with your key. Then, plug in the AC power, connect it to your PC loaded with PayClock EZ sotware, and it's ready to go.

It may still work - battery is a backup, good for 300 hours, but connecting to PC for 300 hours would be a problem...

I took one of those "Take One" slips at Office Depot, and from that it looks like battery power and you're good to go....
