Spray on Sealer

getting ready to seal an exposed aggregate driveway, about 3200 sq ft...new to this, but have sealed brick pavers many times and have always used a good quality pump sprayed to apply it....using a different type of sealer made especially for exposed aggregate, and the directions suggest applying it with a nap roller, I know this will be a headache and will take forever, anything wrong with using a pump sprayer?

Stonehenge is on a distinguished road
I think the only drawback (from my experience) is that the power-sprayer types get clogged too easily, making the sprayer "disposable" after one use. I would hazard a guess that that is why they recommend a roller.

If your sprayer can handle it, I can't see why you wouldn't use it.

thanks for the reply Jeff, that's what I figured too...a higher quality sprayer can usually handle this type of job, maybe with a few replacement parts anticipated...but the amount of time it would save seems to be well worth it

Call the manufacturer and double check, I would think that you would need a very good sprayer to reduce clogging.
