new to running my own business, looking to be included with builders and know that I need to be bonded and insured....anyone know of any good insurance groups to go through for this in our trade? any response would be appreciated

Find a local insurance agent (independent). They will look for you and save your gas. Try and contact a couple of them and tell them what you need.

I deal with two brokers ,one for vehicle and one for Workcomp/Biz liability.

Make sure you tell them what you are doing if they don't ask up front. Equipment riders, pesticide etc. If you don't have the right coverage it will bite you in the ass later.

thanks for the lead...figured might have to go that route, wasn't sure if there was a national agency that specialized in the field or one that was known for good rates...

I had a lot of trouble finding something -- some of them wouldn't insure me cause I was too small - it seems absolutely ridulous! I finnally did find Farmer insurance group would cover landscaping companies.
