Lien Waiver help?

Hey everybody.

We have a client who would like a lien waiver at the end of the job and we are wondering if someone could post an example or template. It's amazing how much more professional we're becoming with this sites help.

Thanks,
Matt

Let me dig up one tonight - in the meantime, a couple other ways to handle this:

Tell them you'd be happy to have signed whatever lien waiver form they need to have signatures on. Let them provide the form.

Another is to call your supplier and ask for them to send you one for the materials.

If you use your own form, I would put something in there to indicate this waiver only takes effect after you've received payment in full from them.

Thanks you guys.

Paul, that is a little formal and I think I'll use it as more of a guide and write up my own. It was a big help, gracias.

Make sure that before you give any wavers, you get paid simultaneously, or write next to the signature "This waver shall benull and void unless payment in full is not recieved by, (put the date you expect to be paid by) and then sign it.

Just a little cover your butt technolgy there.....

Paul: I thought Chicago title wavers were a PIA,,, that thing you gave has it all!
