Thats importaint stuff! But how is it that a f 350 dosent need a CA # but my cab over
under 26001 pounds does?
Ive been watching the dot in the oncomming lane for months now looking at me and no name on the door or a CA #, but i just seem to know the right turn off to avoid the "bleeeeeeeeeeeeep" hehehehe
the minute you attatch a trailer to that f350 you are over the 10k lbs limit and it also needs a DOT # displayed

Right......but is that only for New York State?

I don't mind having to have the numbers on the dump trucks...I am not sticking numbers on my pickup......

Not on a new 05 F350 XLT and extras.....Be cold day in hell before I put DOT numbers on it...

I have a problem with my Counties Consumer Affairs now saying we don't need license stickers..........cause some Jack in a Hummer used for business didn't want to put a Consumers License sticker on it.

Last week I had to get an overwidth permit for my plow on the F-550. Not only was the permit $110, good for one season, but I had to provide an insurance bond that cost $200!!!

How does my plow become suddenly safe with the addition of a $310 piece of paper????

Glan, you can scream all you want about not posting your numbers, but if you are warned by the guys in the black vans, you'd better do it or expect to face fines.

Then there are all those rules written in tiny microscopic print filed under three stacks of documents waiting to be shredded by a 4th grade educated affirmative action appointee making 30.00 an hour....

If there is some rule they can gain revenue from, their job is to cite you. If we took all the police who are nothing moe than revenue collectors for the pollitians who refuse to raise taxes for fear of loosing popular votes, and placed them on active duty or boarder patrol, we would double the size of police forces without adding salary.
