Paver Warranty

We need to formalize our warranty for paver work. I'm wondering if anyone has a warranty with language that includes both the workmanship and the materials. Will you share? Thanks!

This is what I have. I think it needs some work so I am interested to see what other use too.

Contractor warrants to Owner that all materials and equipment incorporated into the project will be new unless otherwise specified. All materials and equipment are warranted by the manufacturers or suppliers written warranty only. Contractor warrants all workmanship for a period of 5 years from date of completion. Any failure of workmanship during the warranty period will be repaired by Contractor at no cost to Owner including labour and materials. Contractor makes no other warranty, express or implied and its agents and technicians are not authorized to make such warranties.

The legalities of this are quite boggling...........I was at a conference last year and the speaker kind of implied that if push came to was who ever spent the most on a attorney who would matter what you write.

The thing I love about the warranty is with the manufacturer's end.................we have one here who's favorite motto is 'usage means acceptance!'...................just try and go back to them 5 years later and claim their product was a fault....................

Here's the part of our contract having to do with pavers and retaining walls:

Stonehenge warrants that brick paving or retaining wall material used in this contract will be free from defects and the installation will be functional for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion of the Contract, provided the installation was used as was intended when the Contract was designed, and was not misused. Any repairs/replacements made to any installation after expiration of the warranty will be made at Customer's expense. Any repairs made to any installation by any party other than Stonehenge voids any warranties offered by Stonehenge.
