Gypsy Moths

Hi all,

I suppose this could go in homeowners also since this is a personal question.

I just bought a house this year and it is in a bad gypsy moth infestation area.

My neighbor lost three beautiful oaks this year. He says the township sprays for the caterpillars but sometimes they miss the crucial timings.

My concern/hope is that I can treat my own trees in tandem with their spray. I was looking through my pesticide manual from the state and it wasnt helpful.

Anyone have success with treatments on this? I don't want to lose my large oaks!

Have a certified applicator inject the trees with mauget- Bidrin it is very effective if permitted in your area.
