Maint. schedule on website?

I spend a lot of time during the week fielding inquiries of when our crew is going to get out to their residence. Has anyone tried funneling these inquiries to a website schedule or something similiar?

On busy days if I let the phone go, I end up with 20 Voice mails. it becomes a time consuming task at the end of the day when I am usually brain dead.

Mine's pretty simple as we're there every 7 days. Same day each week. I wouldn't want to even try the every 4 days in spring, every 10 in summer route...

ditto cutntrim. We are usually +/- 15 minutes from week to week, nearly always on the same day. I have thought about putting up an online notice stating that we are "x" days behind for when we do rain delays but have not gone past it being just a thought.

Much as I hate them, this might be a good use for a recording on your voice mail. If you can set one of those, "Thank you for calling, if you are calling about maintenance schedules, we will be working X area of town, or running a day behind due to rain," type things? The trash company did that this winter after multiple feet of snow made is impossible to get through streets, much less alleys.

That is a good idea with the voicemail for a delay. I might do that, just to filter out the easy to answer ones.
