New Sponsor?

I saw the banner for LocalLawncare.com and clicked on it. Seems like a good idea. Just wondered how customers will find the site and what sort of advertising they are going to do? Also, is it being run by anyone we know?

I've not been made privy to their marketing plan, but I also like their idea. As for who's running the show over there, I just recently met the nice folks there, and don't know if or how they might be tied in other ways to the green industry.

LocalLawncare! is an unknown quantity at this point
Thanks for the compliment; I thought it was a cool idea too. As far as how your customers have been finding me, I’d have to say 98% word of mouth/email & search engine. Besides that and a few banner exchanges around the internet we have yet to dive into some real advertisement.

I’d love to have a full-page ad in every telephone directory from coast to coast. We even had a toll free number at one time. However, right now it is only worth listing your company there if the listing is free. So, we cut WAY down on costs and made it free.

Anyone got any neat ideas on how I can raise an advertising budget? I would be very interested in hearing them. ~ info@locallawncare.com
