RootRot is an unknown quantity at this point
Again, funny to catch this thread at this time. We are not dropping the hardscaping but starting to contract it out with our designs. Most of our hardscaping is part of a design scheme that includes plantings, lighting, etc but without good hardscaping labor it can be tough to complete in a profittable time frame. Plantings are still my favorite of course for the reasons JKeegan explained. We are adding mowing and maint. this coming spring in hopes to get the consistent flow of income and to help with any down time. For the last 4 years we have been strictly design build with no maint. or mow and I am happy we have survived this long without offering that side of the industry.
