Hi all. I just got licenced to apply chemicals and need some help with pricing. For an example I will use a job I just did today. Small job...only 2832 sq. ft. of lawn. What was done was spot treating of dandelions using a backback sprayer to kill plants that are already there. Not that many...maybe 1 every 30 square feet? Then a granular pre-emergent was spread. What would you charge for this job? I charged 167.00. I dont know if this is high, or low, or right on. To be honest with you, I kinda pulled this price out of my arse...need to get this nailed down so I feel more confident with my price. My chemical cost was about 20.00 and it took about 30 minutes, so I know I made money, but I would like to know how I compare to the rest of the industry. Thanks for the help! -MF

I thought so...the lady who OK'ed it didnt seem to care...but for future proposals I would like to be more competitive. -MF
