Chickweed is really bad this year in my area. I don't know if it is because we had such a mild and damp winter, but it is everywhere. What do you guys do to combat Chickweed? Any help would be appreciated.

What is the temp right now where you are? Have you tried Momentum or if it is cool enough 3 way ester. They have worked great for me with chickweed.

Notice how chickweed is the first of the weeds that is vigorously growing in the beginning of the season?

Chickweed is a winter germinating seed. Can apply a pre-emergent in the fall or late fall......other than that.......Where I am we can spray it with just about anything and kill it. If you spray early enough you prevent it from going to seed...stopping the cycle of plant growing in spring, later going to seed just as it is dieing off with increased heat.
