Lesco Hydro Wb

Got a flyer in the mail. They seemed to be significantly cheaper then your exmarks ,scags, toros and snappers...anyone have any experience using Lesco WB...

No, but you can be sure there a reason why they are "significantly cheaper" than the other brands...

We buy our putting green supplies from Lesco. Inside their
store is an abundance of turf seed choices, 5 different
broadcast spreaders to choose from and ferts and soil
amendments to the max. I haven't seen the mowers yet,
but I wouldn't buy one. Pick from a company that stays
within their craft. Could you imagine a Loft's or Burpee mower.
Scott's is bad enough.

I am meeting with a Lesco rep in about 10 min. I will see what he says about them. I'm sure he will say they are great but he is usually honest with me.

My Lesco rep said the reason they are priced less is because they manufacture there own products, thus no middle man to add more to the price. They seam like a good product to me but I dont personally own one.

I don't know much about the walkbehinds, however I did buy a number of trimmers, blowers, and push mowers from them 4-5 years ago and was not pleased at all. The blowers we through away after 4 months, and the trimmer didn't make it to a second season. The push mower had 4 sets of wheels replaced the first year, and I sold it the second year.

I know they say that they mfg. there own stuff and maybe they do now, however back then they had a second party make the equipment and they just painted them green and slapped there name on them. All the equipment we bought from them had very cheap parts, and IMO I could have bought a better peice at Home Depot.

I've used a Lesco belt WB for about 8 years now and been very happy with it. Mine was made by MTD but it has held up very well. It gets about 900 hours per year and has yet to have a transmission fail or motor fail, or a weld break.
