Poll, Help me pick a logo please....
Can you guys vote for which logo you like best. Also if you can post which variation of the logo you like best.
I would appreciate it very much.
This is what is so great about on-line communities, when you can't make up your own mind, you can call on your peers
Thanks,
Soupy

I blurred them a little when I resized them. Hopefully that won't effect your votes.
Thanks again,

I know which one is my favorite, but I'll spend a little time talking about the others, too.
I'm not really fond of either of the two logos that have a guy holding a clipboard. It seems to create a disconnect between what the company services are, and what the logo is saying. In my eye, if I see an image of a guy with a clipboard, I don't think lawncare.
But clipboard aside, the only logo that looks like one that will be easily recognizable, and one you could build brand recognition from, is the last one, the blade of grass with glasses. It's clean and simple, the font is easy to read, the colors are bright. That's the one that gets my vote, hands down.

Didn't you just revamp your logo last year?

I like the third best because of the reasons Jeff says but personally I think I would start all over. All of these logos look like they come from a mass office supply company like NEBS.

Thanks for the votes guys/gals, I ended the contest and picked #3. After I get the final product, I'll post it.
Scott, I thought about ending it right there, I would have been happing with that design. I almost included it as a runner up, but I just thought it was lacking a little in originality.
Jeff, love the site

Nebraska, I did get a new logo last year for my old name. Due to some changes we are going through, I felt I needed to change the name.
I had the old name for quit awhile, but never advertised. I only used word of mouth. I don't think the name change will effect much.

Sounds like you've got it covered.. Good luck with the new one.
What are your plans for marketing in the upcoming season with that new logo? We're all looking for new and creative ideas; if you're willing to share.

Well, I plan on lettering the truck real nice, including website (which is being built now) and services. I'm having 50 coroplast lawn signs made 24"x18" both sides. 5,000 full color Door-hangers (No white on these babies). Some direct mailing, a few newspaper adds, yellow page add,Free Lawn Treatment for referrals. The web address will be posted on everything. Oh I forgot to mention signs for the trailer. I have a few other ideas also.
Oh yea, Following the Chemlawn guy around in February . Just kidding. I do find it amazing that they are bringing all their employees back full time on Monday. I guess they will have a 10 step program this year.
