You can expect 7-9mpg. if you plan on putting a vbox salter in it do you have a machine that can reach high enough to fill it? The only problem we have had with the 45 or 5500 is the battery isolation module corroded badly. It is in a stupid location right behind the passenger front wheel where the copper is bathed in salt all winter long. GM wanted $800 for the part, but we figured out who manufactured it for GM and got two for $150 each. Also the low profile tires are easily damaged if you hit a curb. We took the agressive lugged tires off the front and put on regular steer tires to help milage during the summer. And I still hate climbing in and out. They are very reliable.

I know some of you said you thought the price was hig on the truck, so what do you think would be a good price for it?

I don't think I'd pay more than $23K for it.

im surprised they wont deal, their inventory has been as is for a very long few months.

You might want to look hard for any leftover 2008 fords - they have something like an 11k rebate on them.

I personally have just never liked fords- thats just me though, cause they had a few that were decently priced. There is another big truck dealer close to youngstown, I'm checking with them right now. They will deal.

I was oh so close to closing a deal on a truck from this dealer - dont want to list his name and increase his search ranking. It turns out that when my banker asked for some documentation, they were completely falsifying what options were on the truck and were waaaay over what NADA value was. For example, I was interested in a Ford dump - one of the options their documents said the truck had was an Allison tranny. I called the sales guy on that and I wish I could see his face because I know just from his voice that it was beat red. I would not reccomend doing business with these guys - they think their stuff dont stink and are IMO way overpriced.
