Partner K700

Who runs this saw? I just picked one up practically new on ebay for $225, so i figured i couldnt go wrong. Whats the pros and cons owners have found with this. We dont do alot of cutting, but for this price, it equals about 2 daily rentals

So long as the cylinder and piston aren't scored, you got yourself a great price on a nice saw. We have a 700 that's about 5 or 6 years old. I think it's the best saw on the market, so I won't have too many cons. You can flop the whole blade assembly 180 degrees if you need to get into tight spots, the vibration is far less than the comparable Stihl (though the Wacker/Dolmar/Makita clones are also great with vibration), power is excellent, filtration system does a really good job (though the filters need replacement faster than Stihl because of the oiled filter they use).

I think you probably got a really good buy.

I've got one as well, haven't had any trouble with it.

If you are cutting dry don't skim on the Filter Oil....put more in the foam than they say..ie don't squeeze all the excess out. I keep two foams spare in a zip seal bag and swap them over regular. Filter oil is cheap...the paper cartridges are getting expensive. We upped our filter oil and shortened the changes after a Tech Rep from Husky saw our work and looked inside the cylinder of our old saw

More filter Oil...its a good tip...DAMHIK!

Yup. But they are making the same saws, just making the plastic a different color and putting a different sticker on it.
