12" or 14" blades

What is everyones thoughts on 12" vs 14" diamond blades for cutting pavers. We use a stihl 420, and we dry cut.

12" - you can cut tighter curves the smaller the blade diameter.

tjl is an unknown quantity at this point
I use a 12" Partner cut off saw for cutting along the solider course and then I use a 14" table saw for cutting the wedges in the solider course and I also cut dry.

I prefer a 12" blade for paver work and a 14" blade for wall work

Ditto dan. We have two TS-400s, one with a 12" and one with a 14" blade. 12" for pavers and flagstone, 14" for walls and cropping steps. Bring both to the job in case the water attachment breaks (about every 3 months) or the pull cord gives out.

4" metabo electric angle grinder for when things get really tight...

We bring both to the job. Straits we definitely use the 14" and curves the 12". Depends on how good you are also.
Sometimes the guys just grab whatever has the better blade...
