Is anyone using E10 unleaded, a 90% gasoline, 10% Ethanol blend, in their small engines....from blowers and trimmers to 15-25HP mowers?

If so have you noticed any problems?

TrickyDick is an unknown quantity at this point
I think a lot of gasoline has included as much as 10% ethanol for quite a few years. I don't think it makes much difference.

For years we were told not to use alcohol in our mowers, blowers, trimmers, concrete saws etc.... The dealer said that it would degrade the gaskets. As such we haved used premium fuel in them.

On the same token we would add iso-heat to our snow blowers gas mixture to avoid freezing the carbs. Some of these blowers are six years old and get a lot of use. They all still run fine.

We're done paying premium prices for the rest of our equipment's fuel needs.

Over this rainy week I had two guys look at all the operators manuals and we can not find one that says to avoid ethanol. They say to use no greater than 10% ethanol. They all say to avoid methanol.

Around here there isn't an option - our fuel is automatically mixed w/ (I believe) 10% ethanol. There's a notice to this effect on every single pump in the area. Our governor decided to make it law for the most populated areas of the state.

I haven't noticed a difference in lifespan of equipment.
