Oil in the muffler...

The Honda on our Wacker 1550 started coughing oil out of the muffler and then died completely. I'm guessing it's a lost cause?

could an employee have overfilled the crankcase? will the engine still turn over when you pull the rope or is it locked up?

Check that the carburetor float didn't stick open and flood the crankcase too. Take an oils sample and smell it, if it has a strong gasoline smell and is overfilled you need to clean the carb.
